To mark the release of the Impact Report of the MRC-Versus Arthritis two ageing research centres of excellence, the Centre for Integrated Research into Musculoskeletal Ageing (CIMA) and Centre for Musculoskeletal Ageing Research (CMAR), we will be hosting a ‘Launch and Learn’ online event on 3rd December 2024 (between 12.45-14.00).
During this session, a cast of star-studded academics from the two centres including Professors Janet Lord (CBE), Eugene McCloskey and Paul Greenhaff will present some key research achievements articulated in the report:
- Eating well to enhance MSK health in an ageing population
- Moving more to enhance MSK health in an ageing population
- Co-developing resources with and for patients to empower all with knowledge
- Optimising osteoporosis policies
- Championing MSK Ageing research to UK Government
This session takes place around lunch, so please ensure that you can take breaks elsewhere during the day. A Q&A will be held at the end, and the whole session will be recorded in case you are unable to attend.
