In the summer of 2023, we launched our next themed call for research proposals on the topic of “addressing age-related issues of hearing and/or vision through healthcare technologies”. To find out more about the call, including the priority research topics we identified, please read the call guidelines on our website.
Our online kick-starter was held over two days in the run-up to the call opening (Tuesday 6th and Thursday 8th June 2023) and aimed to:
- Introduce the funding call and address attendees’ questions.
- Highlight additional upcoming funding opportunities, from relevant partner organisations, that may be of interest.
- Offer prospective applicants to the call (from both within and outside academia) an opportunity to network and develop initial ideas, and potentially go on to submit an expression of interest application.
Day 1 of the kick-starter event – which focused on introducing the call, discussing what makes a good application, and highlighting related funding opportunities – was recorded, and you can scroll down to find links to the individual sessions.
