Call for proposals now open: building and delivering suitable living environments and communities for an ageing population

Expressions of Interest in our new call for proposals on the topic of building and delivering suitable living environments and communities for an ageing population are now invited. Full details of the call, including the timeline of what will be a two-stage process, are available in our guidelines.

The deadline for receipt of Expressions of Interest is 18th May 2021 at 5:00pm.

In November last year, the Trust launched its 2020 – 2025 Strategic Framework, which set out our plans and priorities for the next five years. This will see us taking a thematic approach to funding calls – enabling us to target support towards underfunded areas and making our priorities for funding clearer for applicants.

As a reminder, for this call we’ll be looking for innovative proposals which support collaborative projects between researchers and community organisations. We welcome proposals from researchers at UK universities and approved research organisations, with co-applicants from community organisations and collaborators from within and beyond academia.

For those who do not have a pre-established relationship with a community organisation, we have partnered with Johnnie Johnson Housing and United St Saviour’s Charity, both of which are offering researchers the opportunity to collaborate with them. For more information on these organisations and the research topics in which they are interested, together with more details on the two-stage application process, please read our call guideline documentation.
