Change to Annual Lectures event 30 March 2023

Following the recent announcement about the latest set of planned national rail strikes (including on the 30th March), we have taken the difficult decision to change the format of our upcoming Annual Lectures event.

On the assumption that the strike will seriously impact the ability of many of our speakers and attendees to join us in-person – and that it’s unlikely that our delegates would appreciate spending five hours at their screens without the enticement of drinks at nibbles at the end of the day – we are instead hosting a live lunchtime webinar (12.30 – 1.35pm) on the 30th March. This webinar will incorporate some exciting announcements we have planned, together with the panel session “Delivering housing policy solutions for healthier later lives”.

We will then be releasing pre-recordings of the other lectures individually over a number of days, so that delegates can watch them at a time to suit them.

We have further decided to host an in-person early career researcher event later in the year and will be including the poster and 5-minute fellowship sessions at that event – further details to follow.

To attend the lunchtime webinar and/or to receive updates on the recorded lectures once they are released, please register via Eventbrite. Please note that if you have previously registered for an in-person ticket, you do not need to re-register – we will send details of the webinar to you separately.

We really hope that many of you will join us for the webinar on the 30th March and will enjoy watching the various recorded lectures when they are released. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the event please do get in touch.
