We are pleased to be able to publish our recent annual report and updated action plan in support of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers (commonly known as the Researcher Development Concordat).
The Concordat is an agreement between four key stakeholder groups – funders, institutions, researchers and managers of researchers – to improve the employment and support for researchers and researcher careers in higher education in the UK. The Trust first became a signatory of the Concordat in March 2020 and published its original action plan in March 2021.
The annual report and updated action plan summarises our progress against our original actions, and also outlines a number of new actions aligned with the three defining principles of the Concordat: environment and culture, employment, and professional and career development.
