Publication of Academy of Medical Science’s report: Future-proofing UK Health Research: a people-centred, coordinated approach

The Academy of Medical Sciences has today published a report detailing the strengths in the UK’s health research system and outlines the key threats if faces, as well as the steps needed to protect it.

The report is structured around four main themes – placing people at the heart of the UK health research system, ensure talented people can develop careers that span sectors, ensure that the true costs of excellent health research is adequately covered and to maximise the research potential of the NHS.
